Join The Bob Potokar 'Love Your Face' Foundation In Filling the Local Blood Bank!

One of our missions here at the Foundation is to support the Multiple Myeloma community. What better way that to ensure blood is available to those patients who need it. Looking back, Bob needed 9 gallons (gallons y'all) of blood in his short cancer journey. 


We are supported in this mission by the Chicago Ridge Public School District, who donate the space each year for us to hold the blood drive.

Tailgating Theme

If you know Bob and Kim, they love tailgating at the Chicago Bears games. There will be a tailgating party with food, refreshments and giveaways!

  • Must be at least 16 years old (donors aged 16-22 have additional requirements)
  • Must weigh at least 110 pounds
  • Must be in good general health
  • Must not have donated within the last 8 weeks

  • Eat within 2 hours ahead of your donation appointment time
  • Drink plenty of non-alcoholic liquids
  • Wear comfortable clothes with easy access to your arm
